Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly have posted a teaser trailer for what appears to be Alien: Isolation 2. The video, titled 'A False Sense of Security', features a rainy outdoor location and a familiar emergency phone save station.
The teaser doesn't confirm the game, but given Creative Assembly's announcement in 2024 that they were working on a follow-up, fans are expecting an impending announcement. The video's description reads, 'A feeling of being safer than one really is.'
Alien: Isolation originally released in 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It's remembered as a classic entry in the Alien video game series and a beloved horror game. Despite its strong fan base, Creative Assembly and Sega refrained from making an official announcement about a sequel until the game's 10th anniversary in 2024.
Little information about Alien: Isolation 2 was shared at the time, with the team mostly telling players to expect more information 'when it's ready.' The sequel is currently in early development, with original creative director Al Hope on board.
