Assassin's Creed Hexe Game Director Exits Ubisoft
Ubisoft's mysterious Assassin's Creed Hexe project has hit a roadblock as game director Benoit Richer has announced his departure from the company.
Richer first joined Ubisoft Montreal in 2000 and had previously worked on games like Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla. He left the company for the first time in 2008 but returned in 2017.
The departure comes just months after the exit of previous creative director Clint Hocking, who left the project in February. The new creative director, Jean Guesdon, has taken over Hocking's role.
The release date for Assassin's Creed Hexe remains a mystery, with no official information released by Ubisoft apart from a single logo. The game was first announced in 2022 alongside Assassin's Creed Infinity and Assassin's Creed Shadows.
