Battlefield 6 fans are divided after EA and Battlefield Studios added an option to pre-order the Season 3 battle pass almost two weeks before its launch.

The option to pre-order battle passes in Battlefield 6 marks a slight change in monetization strategy, allowing players to lock in for Season 3 ahead of its expected May 12 release date.

Those who commit to either pass early unlock rewards, such as the Verdant L110 Weapon Package for the standard battle pass, or a collection of two weapon packs for the Pro version.

The introduction of Battlefield 6 battle pass pre-orders coincides with the impending launch of Season 3, which will help determine the future of EA's military FPS franchise.
