Former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida has expressed concerns about Sony's ability to maintain investment in first-party games without releasing them on PC.
Yoshida, who previously led Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, spoke at ALT. Games, stating that releasing games on PC after a couple of years has helped recoup the investment of big-budget games and allowed teams to reinvest in new projects.
He questioned how Sony will maintain its investment in first-party games without this strategy, given the high costs of game development.
