Helldivers 2 Machinery of Oppression Update 6.2.2

Following the recent community criticism, Arrowhead has released a new patch for Helldivers 2, introducing significant balance changes, two new biomes, and various bug fixes.

New Biomes and Exo Experts Warbond

The update adds two new biomes, including a lush forest planet, and introduces the new Exo Experts Warbond with new exosuit designs suitable for close combat and fire-based offense.

Balance Changes and Bug Fixes

The patch includes a major Exo Suit rebalance, enemy rebalance, sidearm and stratagem rebalances, and numerous bug fixes, such as the fixed Enthusiastic Mirth emote sound and restocked fireworks for the tutorial celebration.

Community Feedback and Future Plans

Arrowhead has acknowledged the community's criticism and has promised to address the concerns, with the game director highlighting the plans to expand the game's scope and provide more attention to the core Helldivers 2 experience.
