Tides Of Tomorrow Review

Tides Of Tomorrow is a game that lets players see the actions of previous players and experience interactions with the world and NPCs shaped by their behavior. This feature is brought to life through a second sight-style power that lets players watch a ghost version of previous players for a short time.

The game's storyline takes place in a flooded, failing remnant of the world, where different gangs have taken control of structures that loom out of the sea. Players must work with these gangs, including the Marauders, Reclaimers, and Mystics, to progress through the game.

The game's mechanic of seeing previous players' actions adds a new layer of depth to the game, allowing players to make choices that affect not only their own game but also the games of future players. This mechanic is cleverly woven throughout the game, with players able to use it to solve puzzles, avoid danger, and even help or hinder other players.

The game also features a unique system of categorizing players based on their actions, with players being tagged as certain types, such as 'tree-hugging survivalist'. This categorization can affect the game world, with certain dialogue options and interactions being available or blocked based on the player's type.
